In the Volyn region, the search continues for a 17-year-old student from the village of Sedlishche, who mysteriously disappeared on February 17 while resting with friends in a forest near the village of Ugrynichi, Kamin-Kashir district.

The searchers found the girl's belongings: her wallet with an ID passport and a headband.

Maryna Baldych, an inspector of the communication sector of the Volyn National Police, reported this in a comment to "Suspilno".

"Her headband was found near a swamp, and a wallet with a passport, but not everything together. Now it's just a swamp, the water has arrived. The operatives are already orienting themselves where to look for her. Divers cannot conduct search operations, because the swamp is everywhere and it's shallow there." she said.

According to an employee of the police press service, the bandage was found approximately 50 meters from the coat, which was discovered earlier, at the end of February, by operatives in the forest.

The search for the student is not only carried out by law enforcement officers, but also by the military, border guards, foresters and local residents.

The search area is constantly being expanded, working out the areas of the area according to the map, in particular, the searchers surveyed the Stokhid River and the bottom of the reservoir.

The girl was reported missing on February 17 at 5:17 p.m.

She left her phone in the car in which she and her friends had come on holiday and went in an unknown direction.

It will be recalled that earlier in the village of Ratne in Volyn, the body of a 37-year-old woman who disappeared on December 28 was found in the Pripyat River.
