Unfortunately, the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Robotyny region was unsuccessful.

The occupiers have prepared a serious system of defensive lines.

Ilya Matviychuk, deputy chief of staff for combat management of the 118th separate mechanized brigade, said this within the scope of the "Observation Post" project.

"The enemy had a lot of time to prepare their positions. They established themselves there as early as March 2022 and constantly increased their strength both in personnel and in engineering barriers, mine and explosive barriers. They had enough time to draw their line there , not even one - several lines of defense. Such a powerful system," he says.

At the same time, on the Ukrainian side, according to him, no appropriate defense lines were erected.

"We were preparing to move forward. We had very ambitious plans, but it didn't happen as expected," Matviychuk summarized.

Earlier it was said that after five days of continuous enemy assaults, Ukrainian soldiers managed to force the invaders to withdraw from Robotyny.
