The drone attacked the metallurgical plant "Severstal" in the city of Cherepovets, Vologda region of the Russian Federation.

An explosion was heard in the city.

Local telegram channels that early in the morning on March 7 there was an explosion at the plant, which was heard by many local residents.

The press service of "Severstal" first informed that a "technological incident in blast furnace production" had occurred at the plant.

One of the units was taken out for a previously planned repair.

Note that this is the third UAV attack on a large steel plant in Russia.

Earlier, metallurgical plants in the Lipetsk and Kursk regions were attacked.

It will be recalled that on the night of March 7, the Russians announced the destruction of two UAVs allegedly over the Tula region.

At the same time, a missile threat was declared in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
