5 conditions were placed before the audience to watch Alamara

You must remember India's first talking movie, which came out 93 years ago. For those who don't know, let us tell you that Alam Ara, released on March 14, 1931, is India's first talking movie, which had a total of seven songs.

The film was directed by Ardeshir Irani.

While Prithviraj Kapoor and Zubaida were seen in important roles.

Made with a budget of only Rs 40,000, this film is said to have earned Rs 29 lakh.

But do you know that five conditions were placed before the audience to watch the film, of which people are unaware. 

These were the five conditions for the spectators who went to see Alam Ara

According to a poster of the film that surfaced, the first condition was that there would be three shows daily at 5.50 pm, 8 pm and 10.30 pm.

Apart from this, there will be a special show at 3 pm on Saturday-Sunday and Bank Holidays.

The second condition was that a child above 3 years of age would have to buy a movie ticket. 

The third condition was that the management has the right to change the program without any prior notice. 

The fourth condition was that the money would not be returned in case of any accident. 

The fifth condition was that whoever buys a movie ticket from outside will not be able to go inside the theater.

Talking about the film, Alamara is the first spoken film released in Hindu, Urdu and Hindustani languages.

Alam Ara's first premiere was on 14 March 1931 at the Majestic Cinema, Mumbai.

The music of the film was done by directors Firozshah, M Mistry and B Irani.
