The president said that "as of this morning, we have collected the total amount for the purchase of all ammunition, 800,000 pieces."
In addition, Pavel stated that the Czech government will sign a memorandum with all the countries that have joined the initiative - and there are 18 of them - and will inform about further steps and delivery schedules.
At the same time, the president refused to specify which countries have invested in the initiative.
Pavel stated that, according to his information, the first ammunition should arrive in Ukraine "in the coming weeks".
"Now it will depend on the skill of our companies and the Ministry of Defense to speed up the whole process," he added.
