Ukraine may launch

a counteroffensive

in 2024, if circumstances favor it.

In an exclusive interview with tsn.ua

, a military analyst,

Colonel Petro Chernyk,

told about this .

"Can we have the prerequisites for counteroffensive actions? But why not! We did attack in 2023. And I do not consider our counteroffensive to be a failure... It did not achieve the operational tasks that were set - to break through, conditionally, to Milk estuary, to gain a foothold there and collapse the southern bridgehead. But there is success: we cut down 10 out of 10 bridgeheads in the "Surovikin line",

- says Chernyk.

In particular, an absolute record was set for only one artillery from May to September last year: more than 3,600 barrels were destroyed.

"If you divide by 72, it is a full 50 brigades. That is, it is something unthinkable. And in order for us to go back to the mode of the attacking party, we need only one thing - weapons, weapons and weapons again. About F-16 and ATACMS only a lazy person spoke and did not write, he is already on the tongue, how much this weapon is needed,"

Chernyk emphasizes.

According to him, by the end of the summer, most likely, they will finally work.

Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine,

Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized that

if Europe wants peace, it should increase the production of weapons and ban the export of artillery shells to other continents.
