In her video, which she recorded while sitting on a wooden bench outside her home in Windsor, the princess sent a touching message of support to all cancer patients.

The video, which was shot by BBC Studios, was recorded by Catherine sitting on a bench against the background of blooming daffodils.

According to express, daffodils, the national flower of Wales (another nod to her royal title), have long been associated with cancer patients and survivors as they symbolize strength, resilience, courage, life and new beginnings.

A 2018 study by Denis Lafontaine of the Faculty of Science of the Free University of Brussels (ULB) in Belgium found that daffodils have anti-cancer properties, as their extract can help fight cancer.

It was also previously reported that watchful fans noticed two more important details in the video of the Princess of Wales, where she talked about her diagnosis.

Catherine is currently on holiday at Anmer Hall in Norfolk with her husband William and three children.
