The 13-year-old boy, beaten by his peer, has been discharged from the hospital and is now at home.

This was announced by the spokesperson of the NI Pirogov UMBALSM, Maria Poirazova, quoted by Focus.

The injured teenager was initially in intensive care for three days, then transferred to a ward and subsequently discharged from the University General Hospital for Active Care and Emergency Medicine. 

On March 20, it became clear that a 13-year-old child's life is in danger in the Children's Intensive Care Unit of Pirogov Hospital after being beaten by a classmate during recess.

Initially, the beaten child was conscious, but a few hours later, when he returned home, he felt bad, the SDVR explained to "Focus" at the time.

The injured teenager had an abdominal injury and his life was in danger.

The same evening, the 14-year-old youth was searched and detained, and the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office prosecuted the attacker.

1, item 3 of the Criminal Code, according to which the 14-year-old who put his classmate in intensive care faces up to 3 years in prison.

The supervising prosecutor imposed on the accused a remand measure "supervision of a children's pedagogic room inspector". 

"We came to the conclusion that the student who kicked the injured boy does not have the moral right to continue studying with us," admitted the director of 143 "Georgi Benkovski" OU Irena Doichinova and expelled the aggressive student.
