New Delhi:

Preparations have been intensified by all the parties across the country for the Lok Sabha elections.

All the political parties are busy finalizing the alliance.

Talks regarding alliance are also going on in Tamil Nadu.

In the politics of Tamil Nadu, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and opposition All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) have been the main base.

On one hand, DMK India is talking about seat agreement with its alliance partners, while on the other hand, relations between AIADMK and BJP have deteriorated in the recent past.

All is not well in the India alliance too.

DMK and other allies of the Congress alliance are worried about the slow pace of talks.

In the last elections, Congress had won 8 out of 9 seats won under the alliance.

Questions over the slow pace of talks have also been raised by another ally of DMK-Congress – Vaiko's Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

According to sources, Vaiko's party wants to contest elections on two seats.

At the same time, DMK is preparing to give only one seat.

In the last elections, Vaiko's party was given one seat and was also given one seat in the Rajya Sabha.

Left parties had won 4 seats in the last elections.

On behalf of CM Stalin, Communist Party of India and CPIM have been given two seats each.

Indian Union Muslim League and Kongu Desa Makkal Katchi have got one seat each.

In 2019 too, CPI and CPIM contested four elections (and won four) and IUML and KDMK contested one election each.

These parties had registered victory on their respective seats.

In 2019, PMK had won 7 seats.

PMK was a part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in the 2019 elections, and was given seven seats from AIADMK's share.

However, the small party lost the elections on all seven seats.

Puthiya of BJP and AIADMK's Krishnasamy is also trying to reach a compromise with Thamizhagam.

Both the parties want to bring him into their fold.

Although there is talk that he is close to AIADMK.

BJP is looking for a strong ally.

BJP is still looking for an ally in Tamil Nadu.

BJP has always been weak in the state.

After the departure of AIADMK, BJP has not got any big partner.

The AIADMK had accused BJP state chief K Annamalai of attacking its senior leaders, including party founder MG Ramachandran and his mentor CN Annadurai.

BJP State President wants to field candidates on all the seats. It

is noteworthy that Annamalai was entrusted by BJP with the task of strengthening BJP in Tamil Nadu.

There is talk that he is going to Delhi with a list of 39 names.

He can demand from the party leadership to contest the elections on his own.

Annamalai said that priority has been given to women candidates, but the party leadership will take the final decision.

BJP still has hopes from AIADMK

BJP has struck a deal with GK Vasan's Tamil Manila Congress - which it contested in the last Lok Sabha election and lost one seat - but is still looking for allies to boost its profile in the state. Is looking for.

Also, BJP has not yet given up hope that its former allies will make a U-turn.

Last week, the party had used pictures of MGR and his successor J Jayalalithaa in its posters.

However, AIADMK called it "cheap politics".

D Jayakumar had said that our party will not join NDA.
