The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, allegedly arrived in Ukraine for just a few hours.
In Odesa, he is to meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
This is reported by the Greek mass media, in particular Newsit.
It is worth noting that the information has not been confirmed by either the Ukrainian or the Greek government.
According to the media, after the meeting with Zelensky, Mitsotakis will go to Bucharest for the EPP conference.
The Greek Prime Minister's visit to Ukraine comes at a time when Volodymyr Zelenskyy is calling on the international community not to leave his country and to strengthen it as much as possible to prevent the onslaught of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited Athens in August of last year, and during these two years of war, Greece never stopped opposing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that earlier the leadership of Greece approved the decision to transfer weapons to Ukraine, which are considered obsolete.
This comes after the US Department of Defense's Office of Military Cooperation said the State Department had approved the $8.6 billion sale of F-35 fighter jets to Athens.
