Todorov clarified that there will be no video surveillance during the entire election day, the device will be turned on at the end of the day by the chairman of the SEC and will record until the protocols are signed.

By March 20, 12,000 units will arrive, plus spares.

The three mobile operators are included in the election security coverage.

Tests of the devices will continue until election day - 12 days, when they will be installed and tested.

Up to 20 thousand people will be able to watch the counting of ballots in real time.

"Not all SECs will be able to broadcast the live video surveillance and video recording process due to the lack of internet, but a recording will be made so that in the following days anyone interested can watch the chronology of counting the ballots", explained Georgi Todorov
