Svitlana Tleniuk, the widow of a fallen soldier from Ternopil, gave birth to twins on her husband's birthday.

Today, February 19, the fallen hero would have turned 38 years old. The father of the twins, Bohdan Tlenyuk, died on July 4, 2023, during artillery shelling near Vodyanyi in Donetsk region.

Three days after that, his wife Svitlana found out that she was pregnant. The couple lived together for two and a half years. All this time they dreamed of a joint child. It was the second marriage for both of them. The couple could not conceive naturally, so they turned to doctors for help.

"He didn't have time to find out. He died a week later and 3 days later I found out that I was pregnant. And then they found out that there were two of them there. It's a great miracle," the woman said in a comment to "Inter".

Svetlana Tlenyuk - 47 years old. She had two sons from her first marriage. Elder Nazar died in battle on the front line. The youngest, Oleksiy, is now 15. Bohdan had no children.
