Andre Tan

presented a collection of his sustainable fashion brand RDNT called Open Your Eyes at the Fashion Week in Los Angeles (as part of the Ukrainian Fashion Forward program).

The collection consists of ultra-functional, minimalist and stylish items that represent modern youth, their moods and thirst for self-expression.

Eco-materials were used for its creation: organic cotton and recycled polyester, which draw attention to eco-consciousness and "ethical fashion".

Before the start of the show, guests were shown a special mini-film prepared by the design team.

It showed how beautiful Ukraine is, as well as the consequences of a full-scale war.

So, according to the designer, they reminded the Americans about the war in Ukraine.

"I realized that I was doing everything right when I was driving in Los Angeles in a taxi - and accidentally started a conversation with the driver. The taxi driver told me many interesting things, for example, that many people in the USA think that the war is in Ukraine has already ended, because it was completely stopped being shown on television. And this despite the fact that the war is now in a fierce phase, when battles are taking place every meter and our fighters are dying. I wanted to cancel the show several times - there were certain difficulties, but then I realized, that this Fashion Week is a great opportunity to once again remind the world that the war continues and Ukraine needs the support of the world community," shared Andre Tan.

Ukrainian and American models, whom he selected at a special casting, took part in the show.

"American models are beautiful and extremely professional, I got tremendous pleasure from working with them. But I am once again convinced that Ukrainian models are the best in the world," Andre Tan added.

It will be recalled that Andre Tan first showed this collection at the Fashion Week in Paris.
