Paying tribute to the original 911 and the 1972 classic Carrera RS2.7, the Porsche 911 Sport Classic arrived in Taiwan yesterday (21st). It is the most powerful rear-wheel-drive manual 911 today, limited to 1,250 units worldwide.

The new Porsche 911 Sport Classic is the second work of the Heritage Design collection series. It has a wide-body body exclusive to the 911 Turbo, with a fixed carbon fiber ducktail spoiler that pays tribute to the Carrera RS2.7, classic five-spoke black and silver two-color wheels on the side of the car, The "PORSCHE" painting and the round No. 60 painting both present the classic elements of racing cars in the 1970s.

The layout of the car interior presents a classic style, especially the houndstooth pattern seats and door interiors, which are all elements that pay tribute to the first generation 911. The two-tone top leather interior in cognac brown contrasts with the body colour.

It is powered by a 3.7-liter twin-turbo horizontal 6-cylinder engine, combined with a 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, with a maximum horsepower of 550 horsepower. The unique suspension adjustment system and sports suspension can lower the vehicle height by 10mm to obtain more stable handling performance.

The domestic price of the Porsche 911 Sport Classic starts at RMB 14.75 million, with a quota of about 12 units, all of which have been sold out.

The houndstooth seat is reminiscent of the classic touch of the original 911.
