One of the owners of Tesla cars from America, Brandon Dalaly, made an unusual move.

Accordingly, he inserted the car key under his skin.

He posted a video on social media showing him having a chip implanted in his right hand and then using it to unlock the vehicle.

"Now I use it as a key when my Bluetooth dongle breaks or I don't have a key card," Dalaly said.

This somewhat strange act is made possible thanks to a chip called Vivokey Apex, which uses NFC technology, so it works on the same principle as when you pay with a bank card with the "touch to pay" principle.

Dalaly said he is part of a group of 100 people who always test these chips before they are available to the general public.

Tesla owners who don't want to install the chips themselves otherwise use a key card or mobile app to unlock their vehicles.

Dalaly, a big fan of technology, says he already has another smaller chip in his left hand that contains the keys to his coronavirus vaccination card, house keys, contact card and other information.

"The whole idea was to have the house key in my left hand and the car key in my right," he said.
