When it comes to electric cars, in the first six months of the year, the Volkswagen Group has left behind its two big rivals, Stellantis and Tesla.

Stellantis has also achieved a good result, considering that it has been offered to the German manufacturer, and it has surpassed Tesla in terms of sales, Telegrafi reports.

Volkswagen in Europe in the first half of the year has managed to distribute the cars ordered - that is, 116,307 sosh, while Stellantis came in second place with 105,413 electric cars ordered.

Tesla is far behind, in third place with only 78,277 cars sold, and this data was provided by Dataforce.

The data is based on 27 EU countries, including the UK, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway.

The best-selling electric car from Stellantis is the new Fiat 500.

Even Tesla is the third in terms of sales of electric cars in Europe, this manufacturer occupies the first two places when it comes to the sale of certain models.

The most requested electric car in Europe during the first six months of the year was the Tesla Model Y (39,969 cars sold), while the next Tesla was the Model 3 (38,320).

The electric Fiat 500 is third (32,315), the Peugeot e-208 is fourth with (21,918), and the Skoda Enyaq iV is fifth with (19,951).
