Comparing 0 to 100kMh times isn't enough to fully appreciate the car's performance credentials as there's more to it than straight-line acceleration.

However, it's a quick and easy way to get an idea of where it stands against its segment rivals.

If you need more proof of the Ferrari SF 90 Stradale's sheer speed, DragTimes' Nrooks Weisblat gave the €545,000 car some rough starts using different types of tires, reports Motor1.

Driving with the original Pirelli Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, the hybrid supercar needed only about 2.5 seconds to reach the speed of 0 to 100kMh, Telegrafi reports.

However, the tires were just starting to show their age, so Brooks decided to replace the rear tires with a new pair of Toyo Proxes R888R tires.

The difference between them was that the time fell to 2.33 seconds.

Chances are it wouldn't make much of a difference if the Toyo tires were fitted to the front wheels as well, as it's the rear wheels that do the pulling due to the enormous speed from the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine.

It is worth noting that the new tires weigh 14.2 kilograms, making them a bit heavier even though they are the same size as Pirelli's, whose dimensions are 315/30/20.
