A new study from the UK shows how often car accidents "nearly happened", with 72 per cent of drivers surveyed reporting having had one.

According to foreign media, Telegrafi reports, the survey was undertaken by the camera company Nextbase and included a sample of 2,000 drivers in the United Kingdom.

And of the 72 percent who came close to an accident at least once, 36 percent said it "almost" could have been fatal.

Thankfully, in all those cases, the people involved were lucky enough to avoid drama and lived to tell the tale.

Road behavior in the UK sounds pretty problematic, as 67 per cent of respondents said they witnessed other drivers speeding and a further 52 per cent witnessed illegal and dangerous overtaking manoeuvres.
