The keeping of the feet on the dashboard by a passenger in a car is not prohibited by any regulation.

But before doing this, it is better to think a few times.

Namely, there is no rule that prohibits a passenger from driving with their legs or feet resting on the dashboard.

Likewise, the police in their announcements do not refer to the legal regulations for this type of behavior, but try to reach the common sense of people who act like this.

In this sense, it is better to start with a video of what happens when our car collides with another car, not necessarily at high speed, and our legs experience close contact with the opening of the front airbag (assuming that you are obeying traffic laws and wearing your seat belt).

If what happened to the mannequin's leg in the video above didn't convince anyone to refrain from putting their feet on the dashboard, here's an even more drastic video – albeit still with test mannequins.
