While everyone is rejoicing over the launch of the Chevrolet Blazer EV, the company has quietly updated its website.

Alongside the Blazer EV is now the photo of the Chevy Equinox EV, and website visitors can sign up for email updates so they won't miss the smaller SUV's official launch.

The photo shows the Equinox EV LT – an entry-level trim that has never before appeared in teaser images.

This new image clearly shows the car's true ground clearance, and the rather interesting knobs not found on the more expensive Blazer EV.

The Equinox is smaller than the Blazer EV, it's not as long as it, and it's the shortest, even though both cars share the Ultium architecture, Telegraph reports.

The platform has already shown amazing flexibility when it comes to offering different battery sizes and power in multiple other models in General Motors' lineup.

Chevrolet had earlier released teaser images showing that the Equinox will come in the Super Sport model series.

It won't be as powerful as the Blazer EV SS, but it'll be close enough, and since it's a smaller, more nimble car, it'll be fun to drive.

The driving range will be 482 kilometers with a single battery engine model, but the larger battery will add a lot of driving mileage.

General Motors is convinced that the starting price of the Equinox EV will be around 29,300 euros.

Blazer EV prices are very low when compared to the competition in the market.

If the company manages to deliver on its promises, the Equinox will sell out of showrooms as quickly as the toilet paper that flew off grocery store shelves during the first COVID shutdown.
