The Hyundai Group, which includes car brands Hyundai, Kia and Genesis, is planning to produce additional models for the European market.

The research and production team of the three brands is currently led by Tyrone Johnson.

By 2021, Johnson's team was working on no less than 30 new car projects.

These projects included the Hyundai Kona N, i20 N and Elantra N, in which the European R&D team will develop more personalized models for the European market, and in fact will lead the team to develop a number of other global models, transmits Telegraph.

Autocar reports that these companies have consolidated a sufficient number of test tracks in Europe since Johnson took office in 2018.

R&D efforts are now based on the former Opel test track in Dudenhofen, Germany, and on the other hand the Hyundai Group is working to double the size of its track in Nurburging.

One of the latest models produced for the European market was the Genesis G70 Shooting Brake.

While it is only accessible with the four-cylinder three-cylinder engine and not with the twin-engine V6 engine which is common for this model, this car was well received by the public, and is now also found in the Australian car market.

As the famous car warehouse went that car was welcomed so much by the public that in the future it could also be sold in the South Korean market.
