Mercedes does not seem to be moving fast in the direction of car electrification - developing new models like the EQB, EQE and EQS, as it is not yet ready to give up models known for conventional engines like the GLC SUV.

Luckily, the second generation of this car debuted these days, with a more modern design, larger dimensions and advanced technology, Telegrafi reports.

The new GLC uses the same mechanics based on the newest Mercedes C-Class, which can boast of new features and improvements that have been made and can compete with rivals Audi Q5 and BMW X3.

The exterior design represents an evolution of the previous model, with a more dynamic look - larger cabin for passengers as well as giant luggage.

At 4,716 mm tall, the second-generation GLC is about 60 mm longer than its predecessor.

The same time is for 4 mm lower.

The width has remained unchanged (1,890 mm).

The offer range includes four-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines, but also combined with electric.

Four of them are "lightweight" hybrids with integrated second-generation starter (ISG).

The other three engine variants are plug-in hybrid with a maximum power of 245 kW (333 horsepower).

All plug-in hybrids have a range of 100 kilometers (WLTP).
