Maserati a few days ago introduced the beautiful MC20 Cielo convertible with Nettuno V6 engine, but those who prefer Maserati in the retro body can be happy with the Italian company Zagato that has a solution for this.

The model is officially called Mostro Barchetta Zagato Powered by Maserati, and is a stylish convertible that comes after the coupe was introduced at the Villa d'Este event in 2015, Telegrafi reports.

The new Zagato model introduces the continuation of the collaboration with Maserati that started as early as 1931. The Mostro Barchetta Zagato is an impressive car inspired by the Maserati 450S produced in 1957.

Like the original 450S version, the new convertible has more aggressive lines.

The windshield and 19-inch wheels make the car look even more attractive.

Buyers can choose between two Maserati engines, the 4.2-liter V8 and the 3-liter twin-turbo V6.

The V8 engine produces 414 horsepower and the V6 less.

The Mostro Barchetta Zagato weighs 1,200 kilograms and has a MonoCell carbon chassis.

Motor power is transmitted to all four wheels, thanks to the six-speed manual transmission.

Zagato will produce only five such cars to be customized, until pricing has been revealed yet.
