Last year’s announcements were accurate, as Porsche has officially confirmed that the Cayman / Boxster duo will only be offered in combination with electric motors from 2025.

As things stand now, the two-seater Porsche Series models with center-mounted engines in the next edition.

It will arrive on the scene in 2025, will be powered only by electric motors, confirmed the first man of the company Oliver Blume.

The electric generation of the Cayman / Boxster duo will be based on a new platform that Porsche is developing exclusively for two-door sports models, and the body style is expected to be inspired by the recently introduced Mission R concept.

More technical details are not known.

In the recently announced plans to increase electrification, it is announced that Porsche, in front of the electric sports two-seater, will introduce the Macan electric SUV and is already working on the first "elf" that will be powered by a hybrid combination.
