BMW will premiere the production edition of the i7 electric model next month.

In parallel with the introduction of the new generation of BMW 7 Series, which will continue to be with internal combustion engines, the focus will be on the first "Week", which will be powered only by electric motors.

Ahead of the premiere of the BMW flag scheduled for April in Munich, they are still silent about the technical details of the electric model, but have revealed that the i7 will be the most powerful version of the 7 Series to date, which means that electric motors will to produce more power than the 6-liter V12 engine offered in the BMW M760i (G12).

Although not yet officially confirmed, the CLAR-based BMW i7 luxury is expected to share batteries (105.2 kWh) and power with the iX M60 electric SUV and the battery capacity should be enough to cover more than 600 kilometers.

Following the April premiere, the order book for the new generation 7 Series and its electric version will open in the second half of the year.
