Ukrainian fencer 

Olga Harlan 

won a bronze medal at the Fencing World Cup stage in Athens (Greece).

The 33-year-old Ukrainian started her performances in the 1/32 final.

On the way to the quarterfinals, she passed the Frenchwoman Kelly Lusignier (15:14), the Azerbaijani Polina Kaspyarovych (15:13) and the American Magda Skarbonkevich (15:13).

In the 1/4 finals, Olga dealt with the reigning world champion Misaki Emura from Japan (15:8) and thus guaranteed herself a medal.

In the semifinals, Harlan was defeated by Spain's Lucia Martin-Portugues (14:15) and ended up with the bronze medal.

For Harlan, this is the 32nd medal at the World Cup level and the tenth "bronze" in his career.

In February of this year, she 

won

the "gold" stage of the Fencing World Cup in Peru.

We will remind, during her career, Olga won four medals at the Olympic Games.

She became an Olympic champion (2008) and a silver medalist (2016) in the team saber, and also won two bronze medals in individual competitions (2012, 2016).
