Sources in Italy indicated that the sports authorities in Italy decided to stop Paul Pogba, 4 years old, from playing football, after he was found to be using stimulants months ago.

The French star was found to be using the stimulant "testosterone" during a doping test after Juventus' first match in the Italian League this season, in August 2023.

Pogba had suffered from injuries in the past, and the current season represented his “last chance” to return to his previous level, where he wrote his name among the promising talents in the world of football.

On Thursday, the player’s fears were confirmed by issuing a four-year sentence, which means that he will be allowed to return to playing at the age of 35, in March of 2028.

The French world champion star will turn 31 in two weeks.
