Zinedine Zidane stayed away from training after his departure from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, but it seems that his return is close after his last statement.

The French star was present at the first screening of the documentary about Italian coaching legend Marcello Lippi, and spoke to reporters about his future as a coach.

Zidane told the Italian "Sky Sports" network, on the sidelines of the screening of the film "Liby" in Rome: "At the moment I am doing other things. Let's see. I am sure that I will return to training. I would like to train again."

The former Juventus star added: “Training in Italy? Why not? Everything is possible.”

Regarding Marcello Lippi, he said: “Libby is the person who made me come to Juventus, and he believed in my abilities. It was not easy for him. I came from France, but he helped me reach what I later became.”
