BCCI Central Contract: On one side is Sarfaraz who is in form and on the other side is Rajat Patidar.

New Delhi:

BCCI Central Contract:

BCCI has announced the names of a total of 30 players contracted for Central Contract for the season 2023-24.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is in great form against England, has been included in "B Category (Rs 5 crore)", while some players have also got a place in C Category (Rs 1 crore annually).

But it is very surprising that Rajat Patidar, who flopped badly in the last three Test matches against England, also got a place in the C category, but Sarfaraz Khan and the hero of the fourth Test, Dhruv Jurel. (Dhruv Jurel) did not find a place in any contract.

Obviously this is a very shocking thing and fans are discussing about it.

But if so, then let us tell you why Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel did not get the contract.

This is the rule of eligibility to get the contract

The rule of eligibility for getting the annual contract of the board is that if a particular player plays three Tests or eight ODIs or ten T20 matches for the country in the stipulated period, then he automatically qualifies for the contract.

Rajat Patidar has played three test matches for India.

Yes, it is a different matter that his best score in 6 innings of three Tests has been only 34.

Because of this Sarfaraz and Dhruv Jurel stayed away

Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel, who performed brilliantly against England, have played only two Test matches so far.

And because of this both of them were prevented from getting the contract.

If both of them play the last Test match in Dharamshala, then both these players will automatically become eligible for the contract.

In such a situation, the fans of these two do not need to worry.

As soon as the third Test is played in Dharamshala, both these players will automatically be included in the contract of "C Category".

And like other players, they too will get an amount of Rs 1 crore annually.
