Ukrainian high jumper 

Yaroslava Maguchih 

won the second consecutive international start of the new season. The 22-year-old athlete from Dnipro became the best at the Millrose Games in New York (USA).

The Ukrainian woman won with a result of 2.00 meters at the competitions of the World Track and Field Tour of the Gold category. She managed to conquer this height on the third attempt.

In the fight for the gold award, Yaroslava beat American Vashti Cunningham (1.97 meters) and Frenchwoman Naval Meniker (1.86 meters).

Moreover, taking the bar at a height of two meters, Maguchih set a new record for these competitions. The previous record of 1.97 meters was set back in 1989.

Let's add that Yaroslava also tried to conquer the height of 2.05 meters and for the second time in a row to update the world record of the season, but all three attempts were unsuccessful.

We will remind, at the end of January, Maguchih 

won

 the first start of the new season - the World Athletics Indoor Tour competition in Cottbus, Germany. There, Yaroslava took the bar of 2.04 meters, showing the best result of the season in the world.
