IND vs SA T20 Series

Suryakumar Yadav on Sunday admitted that it is difficult to forget the disappointing defeat in the World Cup final but the Indian captain termed the recent T20 series win against Australia as a morale booster for the team ahead of the tour of South Africa. India defeated Australia 4-1 in the five-match series at home ground before leaving for South Africa. Suryakumar is leading the side in the absence of injured Hardik Pandya. "The World Cup loss was disappointing and very difficult to forget but the series win against Australia is a big boost even though it came in a different format," he said on the eve of the first T20 against South Africa.

He called for the team to play fearless cricket in the upcoming three-match T20 series against South Africa. "The players played fearless cricket against Australia and we need to keep it the same against South Africa. I told the players that they should play the same cricket as they play in franchise cricket.

Talking about team combination, Suryakumar said, "The combination is all in the key part of our mind. We know who will open the innings tomorrow and maybe we will make a final decision after the practice session today. Yes, we have a lot of options for the sixth bowler," he said. Just keep the players together and this group is very good."
