Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said after the defeat
We need such games so that we can learn from our mistakes before the T20 World Cup. We know they have good batsmen and we have made some changes in our bowling department and we will come back stronger. We could not perform as expected and we need to discuss the positives and come in with a positive approach in the next game. After losing a few wickets, we took control of the game but the last 10 overs did not go according to plan.
For India, Renuka Singh was the most successful bowler with three wickets for 27 runs. Pooja Vastrakar and debutant Shreyanka Patil proved to be quite expensive. Both gave the same 44 runs in four overs. Shreyanka got two wickets while Pooja's bag remained empty.
