The Ukrainian national ski acrobatics team won a medal at the first stage of the World Cup of the 2023/24 season in Ruka, Finland. The bronze medalist was Dmitry Kotovsky.

22-year-old Kotovsky was the only one of six Ukrainians who managed to qualify for the final. He did it with the third result – 113.72 points. Then Dmitry made it to the super final of the competition with a jump score of 116.37 points.
In the decisive attempt, Kotovsky received 117.00 points from the judges, ahead of the American Christopher Lillis (116.74 points) in the fight for bronze.
The gold medal was won by China's Qi Guangpu with a score of 119.91 points. The silver award went to Swiss Pirmin Werner (119.00 points).
For Kotovsky, this is the fifth medal in his career at the level of the World Cup in ski acrobatics in individual tournaments.
The next stage of the Ski Acrobatics World Cup will take place in Changchun, China, on December 16-17. In addition to individual tournaments, the program of the stage will also include team competitions.
