Oleksandr Zinchenko's Arsenal defeated Lens in the home match of the 5th round of the Champions League group stage. The match in London ended with a score of 6:0.

Back in the first half, Mikel Arteta's wards scored five goals against the French club. Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard were celebrated.

In the second half, the Gunners shipped another goal to the opponent – in the 86th minute, Jorginho converted a penalty.

Zinchenko was in the starting lineup of the London club and spent the first half on the field. At half-time, the Ukrainian was replaced by Jakub Kivor.

We will add that in another match of the fifth round of this group, the Spanish "Sevilla" lost at home to the Dutch PSV (2:3).

The victory over RC Lens secured Arsenal's top spot in the group and a place in the Champions League playoffs – the Gunners have 12 points after five matches.

Also, a ticket to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League was guaranteed by PSV (8 points), which took the second position.

Lens (5 points) and Sevilla (2 points) in the last round will determine who will finish in third place and get into the playoffs of the Europa League.

In the matches of the final round on December 12, Arsenal will meet PSV away, and Lens will host Sevilla.
