It became known who will represent the national team of Ukraine in the women's relay at the first stage of the 2023/24 Biathlon World Cup in Östersund, Sweden.

As head coach Mykola Zots said in a comment to Suspilne Sport, Khrystyna Dmytrenko, Daria Blashko, Anna Kryvonos and Iryna Petrenko will play in the "blue-yellows".

The starting stage will be run by Dmytrenko, who made her debut at the World Cup level this season. Then Blashko will go the distance, followed by Kryvonos. The finisher of the Ukrainian national team will be Petrenko.

It should be noted that of the six Ukrainians who are in the team's camp in Östersund, Anastasia Merkushina and Lyubov Kipiachenkova did not get into the relay.

The women's relay will take place on Wednesday, November 29, starting at 16:20 Kyiv time.

In turn, the men's relay race will take place on Thursday, November 30. The game kicks off at 16:20 Kyiv time. The composition of the Ukrainian team will be known later.
