Sachin Tendulkar on Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries in ODI cricket by scoring a brilliant century in the semi-final match between India and New Zealand. Batting against New Zealand after winning the toss, the opening pair of Rohit and Gill gave the team a good start, Rohit Sharma, however, missed the half-century and returned to the pavilion after scoring just 47 runs.

Kohli broke Sachin's record in the 291st match. Let us tell you that Sachin Tendulkar had scored 463 runs in 18426 matches in his ODI career, in which he had 49 ODI centuries to his name.
