Irfan Pathan on Ind vs Pak Match WC 2023: On October 14, India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the India vs Pakistan match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After which the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had complained about the alleged indecent behavior of spectators during the World Cup match against India in Ahmedabad. The PCB also lodged a complaint over inappropriate behaviour targeting the Pakistan team during the India-Pakistan match on October 14," it said.

Meanwhile, during a commentary on Star Sports in the India vs Bangladesh match (Star Sports), Irfan Pathan (Irfan Pathan on Ind vs Pak match) shared the incident during the India-Pakistan match against Pakistan on October 14 due to the PCB's continuous take-up. Pathan said about the match played against Pakistan in Peshawar; "We were playing a game in Peshawar when a fan suddenly threw an iron nail at me which hit me under my eye. It was said in the case that only three American spectators of Pakistani origin were present to support Pakistan. When Mohammad Rizwan was returning to the pavilion after getting out, a group of spectators raised religious slogans, after which the PCB lodged a complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC). Pakistan's Director of Cricket Mickey Arthur had admitted that his players were disturbed by the noise of the crowd during the seven-wicket defeat at the hands of India.
