The Ukrainian midfielder of Girona, who was previously injured in the match of the 8th round of the Spanish La Liga with Real Madrid, returned to training as part of the Catalan club.

The corresponding video appeared on the official page of Girona on Twitter. Teammates joyfully congratulated the 25-year-old Ukrainian on his return to the training process.

On October 2, Girona reported that Tsygankov was out for a month due to an injury to the biceps femoris muscle of his right leg. In this regard, Viktor did not go to the camp of the national team of Ukraine for the October qualifying matches for Euro-2024 with North Macedonia and Malta.

Obviously, it took the Ukrainian a little less time to recover. Therefore, Tsygankov, as part of the "white-reds", is already preparing for the next La Liga match with Almeria, which is scheduled for October 22.

This season, Tsygankov played in eight matches for Girona in the Primera, scoring one goal and making one assist.

After nine rounds of the Spanish championship, Tsygankov's team, as well as Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk, is second in the standings with 22 points. Real Madrid leads with 24 points. In third position is Barcelona, which has 21 points.
