On September 26-27, the matches of the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Football Cup of the 2023/24 season will take place.

16 teams will take part in this stage of the tournament: eight winners of the fourth preliminary stage and eight UPL clubs (1-8 in rating) at the end of last season.

In particular, the giants of domestic football - Shakhtar and Dynamo - will start in the current draw of the national cup. On Tuesday, the Pitmen will face Veres, and on Wednesday the White-Blues will play in the capital's derby against Obolon.

The current vice-champion of Ukraine "Dnipro-1" will play a duel with the newcomer of the elite division "Polissya", which is unexpectedly in fourth position in the UPL.

Another very interesting confrontation will be the match between Chornomorets and Kryvbas, who are currently sensationally in third and second places in the UPL standings.

The last match of the 1/8 finals of the Cup of Ukraine between "Zorya" and the first-league FSC "Mariupol" is scheduled for October 12.

We will remind you that last season the Cup of Ukraine was not held. In the 2021/22 season, the tournament ended ahead of schedule due to Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
