The Portuguese "Benfica" of Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin unexpectedly lost to the Austrian "Salzburg" in the home match of the 1st round of the group stage of the Champions League. The meeting at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon ended with a score of 0:2.

Trubin made his debut for the Lisbon team in the Champions League, entering the field in the starting lineup. At the very beginning of the match, the 22-year-old Ukrainian flew his fists into the opponent in his own penalty area - the referee awarded a penalty and punished Anatoliy with a yellow card. However, the 11-meter Salzburg did not realize - Karim Konate shot above the goal.

However, very soon the Austrian team earned another penalty. In the 13th minute, Eagles defender Antonio Silva tried to clear the ball from his team's goal line and carelessly played with his hand, for which he received a straight red card. This time, Roko Simic beat Trubin from the penalty spot.

After the break, Salzburg took advantage of the numerical advantage and consolidated their success - in the 51st minute after Šimić's pass, Oskar Gluck scored.
