Liverpool beat Wolverhampton away in the opening match of the 5th round of the English Premier League (EPL) – 1:3.
In the 7th minute of the meeting, Hee Chan-hwan put the hosts ahead, which allowed the Wolves to go into the break as a leader.
However, in the second half, the Merseysiders made a comeback. In the 55th minute, Cody Gakpo equalized after a pass from Mohamed Salah.
And at the end of the match, Jurgen Klopp's wards snatched victory. First, in the 85th minute, Andrew Robertson scored from Salah's pass. And in injury time, Harvey Elliott set the final score, Salah scored a hat-trick of assists.
For the Reds, this is the fourth consecutive victory in the Premier League season. Liverpool came out on top of the standings with 13 points. Wolverhampton (3 points) are in 15th position.
In the next round, Klopp's team will host West Ham on September 24, and the Wolves will meet Luton away a day earlier.
