Real Madrid have arranged the transfer of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

According to the Royal Club's official website, the 28-year-old Spaniard has moved to Cream on loan.

The lease is for one season, until June 2024, with no obligation to buy.

Kepa will be unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday, August 15.

Arrizabalaga is the most expensive goalkeeper in football history. In the summer of 2018, Chelsea acquired the Spaniard from Athletic Bilbao for a record amount for the goalkeeper – 80 million euros.

Kepa made 39 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, conceding 45 goals.

At Real Madrid, the Spaniard will compete with Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Earlier, the main goalkeeper of the "cream" Thibaut Courtois was seriously injured and out for a long time.

Recall, Real Madrid started the new La Liga season with a confident victory over Athletic Bilbao. In this match, Lunin managed to keep his goal dry.

In the 2nd round of the Spanish championship, Carlo Ancelotti's team will play Almeria on August 19.
