Kryvbas beat LNZ in the match of the 3rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2023/24 season. The match at the Girnyk stadium in Kryvyi Rih ended with a score of 2:0.

The hosts took the lead in the 38th minute - Danylo Beskorovaynyi scored after an assist from Timur Stetskov.

At the end of the game, the footballers of Yuriy Vernydub doubled their advantage – the final score of the match in the 83rd minute was set by Maksym Zaderaka, assisted by Dmytro Khomchenovskyi.

"Kryvbas" won the second consecutive victory in the current season of the UPL. Kryvyi Rih with 6 points rose to fourth place in the standings. LNZ has three scoring points and a tenth position.

In the 4th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Kryvbas will play against Shakhtar on August 20, and the Cherkasy club, which is spending its debut season in the Premier League, will meet with another newcomer of the elite division, Polissya Zhytomyr, on August 18.
