Ishan Kishan on Kohli

The Indian wicketkeeper went further and said, "This half-century was really special... I knew what the team wanted from me... Everyone supported me. Virat bhai supported me and told me, 'Go and play your game...' It was Virat bhai who took the initiative and told me that I should go for batting first... There was a left-arm bowler who was bowling... It was a good call for the team.. Sometimes you need to take these calls."

"Our plan was to play another 10-12 overs after the rain break and score 70-80 runs. We wanted a target of 370-380...

Ishan also thanked Pant, the
Indian wicketkeeper-batsman gave a special message for Pant in addition to Kohil. "I was in NCA earlier... Pant was also there. He knows how I play... We have known each other since our Under-19 days.
