Jordi moved to Inter Miami as a free agent. His contract with Barcelona expired this summer. Alba will play for the new club at number 18.
Thus, the Spanish defender reunited with Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, who were previously his teammates at Barcelona.
Note that the bottom of the owners of "Inter" Miami is the legendary ex-player of the England national team David Beckham. Also for this team is Ukrainian defender Sergei Krivtsov.
Alba has played for Barcelona since 2012. For 11 seasons with the Catalan club, he played 458 matches, in which he scored 27 goals and gave 99 assists.
Together with the Catalans, Alba 6 times became the champion of Spain, 5 times won the Spanish Cup, 4 times won the Super Cup of the country, and also triumphed once in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Last season, Jordi scored 2 goals and gave 6 assists in 29 matches for the Blaugranas in all competitions.
