England defeated Malta on the road in the match of the 3rd round of qualifying for Euro 2024 – 0:4.

Gareth Southgate's team secured a winning result in the first half. Already in the 8th minute, Maltese defender Ferdinando Apap scored an auto goal.

In the 28th minute, the advantage of the English secured Trent Alexander-Arnold, and three minutes later Harry Kane made the score crushing, converting a penalty.

After the break, the Three Lions team scored another goal. It was authored in the 83rd minute by Callum Wilson, who converted a penalty.

Thus, the England team won their third consecutive victory at the start of qualification for Euro 2024. Southgate's men lead Group C with 9 points, followed by Italy (3), North Macedonia (3), Ukraine (3) and Malta (0).

In the next round of qualifying for the continental championship, England will host North Macedonia on June 19. On the same day, Malta will play Ukraine in Trnava, Slovakia.
