Salman Butt raises questions

After India's defeat in the WTC final, captain Rohit Sharma is getting a lot of criticism. Now former Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt has also been seen criticizing Team India captain Rohit. On his YouTube channel, Salman expressed his opinion and slammed captain Rohit. Regarding Rohit, Salman believes that he is a captain and he should not have made excuses about the defeat in the WTC final. In the final, Australia defeated India by 209 runs to win the World Test Championship title. The Indian team has missed out on winning the WTC final for the second time in a row. At the same time, former Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt targeted the Indian captain on his YouTube channel, saying, "Rohit Sharma asked why the final of the World Test Championship is held in June... He also said that it should be taken out of England... These are the debates that take place when there is no favourable outcome."

"Instead, they should have talked about priorities. If the WTC final was India's priority, they should have ended the IPL 20 days ago, they should have sent their team to England 15 days before the final to play some matches against county teams.

Salman Butt also questioned Rohit's captaincy (Virat Kohli vs Rohit Sharma captaincy) and said, "The record of the Indian team under the captaincy of Virat (Virat Kohli) was excellent in Tests. Ever since Virat has left the captaincy, the performance of the Indian team in Tests has been average. It's not the same as before. They can win Tests in India even without a captain. Captaincy can be assessed only when the team is on a foreign tour and plays Test matches.

After India's defeat in the WTC final, there are also reports that Rohit's captaincy is in danger. Especially Rohit can separate himself from Test captaincy. However, on the West Indies tour in July, Rohit has faced talk of being the captain of the team.
