Vorskla beat Shakhtar at their stadium in the match of the final, 30th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) – 2:1.

Poltava took the lead in the 37th minute – a penalty was realized by Taulant Seferi. After the break, the hosts doubled the advantage with an effort from Yevhen Pavlyuk.

In the 74th minute, Viktor Skrypnyk's team remained in the minority – Ihor Perduta received a direct red card.

The Donetsk club, which at the end of the last round ahead of schedule became the champion of Ukraine in football, reduced the gap in the 80th minute. The goal was scored by Artem Bondarenko. However, the Pitmen could not do more.

Thus, "Vorskla" (45 points) took the fifth place in the UPL, beating at the finish of the season "Alexandria", which in the last round failed to beat "Rukh" (0:0). The Poltava club will play in the Conference League qualification next season.

Shakhtar, as the champions of Ukraine, guaranteed themselves participation in the group stage of the next Champions League.

"Alexandria" (44 points) finished sixth and remained without European competitions for the next season. "Rukh" (32 points) took the 11th place and retained its registration in the UPL.
