Former world boxing champion Krzysztof Glowacki successfully held his first fight in mixed martial arts (MMA). The 36-year-old Pole spectacularly knocked out his compatriot Patrick Tolkachevsky.

The match took place on June 3 in Poland at the KSW 83 tournament. In the first round, Tolkachevsky, for whom it was also his MMA debut, overwhelmed his opponent on the canvas and began punching him on the ground floor.

However, Glowacki was not at a loss and, lying on his back, suddenly punched the left side in the head of his opponent. This pretty stunned Tolkachevsky.

After that, Krzysztof turned his opponent on his back and began to finish him off. The referee instantly intervened and stopped the match.

It should be noted that Glowacki last entered the boxing ring in January 2023. Then he lost in Manchester to Briton Richard Riakpore by technical knockout in the fourth round.

In September 2016, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated Glowacki by unanimous decision and took away his WBO world heavyweight title.

In the professional ring, Glowacki fought 36 fights, won 32 victories (20 by knockout) and suffered four defeats.

Earlier it was reported that Usyk called the condition under which his fight with Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world champion in heavyweight will take place.
