Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko (No. 66 WTA) has reached the third round of the main draw of Roland Garros-2023.

In the second round match, the 34-year-old Ukrainian beat American Lauren Davis (No. 52 WTA).

Lesia won the first set with a score of 6:3. Note that with a score of 4:3 in favor of Tsurenko, the US representative took a medical timeout, after which she could no longer win a single game.

The second game started with Lassie winning the game, after which Davis refused to continue the meeting.

In the next round of the French major, Tsurenko will play against the winner of the pair Bianca Andreescu (Canada) - Emma Navarro (USA).

Thus, in the third round of the French Open, our country will be represented by Tsurenko and Elina Svitolina, who previously made a powerful comeback in the second round match with Australian Storm Sanders.

Elina's next match will be Russian Anna Blinkova, whom the Ukrainian recently defeated in the final of the WTA 250 series tournament in Strasbourg (France).
